Grantham, St. James's to Keith, Harris, Eden, Stepney (Draft) Ambassadors will receive orders as soon as the King is "able to see clearly into the Designs of the Powers with whom he is at War" and to judge whether their ultimate propositions are acceptable. Only measures taken on the part of the British Court have been those to "secure a solid, honourable and permanent Pacification".
