Letters from Edward H. Barwell of the Eagle Foundry, Northampton at the time of the rebuilding of Wrest Park House. The firm was responsible for the iron work, especially the main staircase bannisters (photograph see L33/233). Most are addressed to James Clephan with whom he appears to have been on friendly terms (of. L33/185 - bridge and column in Wrest Park)
