    Abstract of Title of Edward and James Crouch, devisees in trust for sale in will of George Crouch to four cottages, one used as a beer house and 5 roods of land on Hitchin Road, Clifton (Lot 2), drawn up by Arthur S.Wade-Gery of Shefford, solicitor; abstracting: - WL1000/1/CLI/1/1; - WL1000/1/CLI/1/2; - WL1000/1/CLI/1/3; - WL1000/1/CLI/1/4; - will of 26 Sep 1873 of George Crouch of Shefford appointing his nephews Edward Crouch of Cainhoe and James Crouch of Biggleswade executors and trustees and, amongst other things, devised to them (a) the cherry orchard in Meppershall adjoining Shefford-Hitchin road in occupation of William Kempson; (b) messuage used as two tenements in Clifton in occupation of [blank] Player and [blank] Roberts with grassland adjoining containing about 4 acres in occupation of William Kempson; (c) tenements and beerhouse on Hitchin road, Clifton wit hadjoining garden of arable of about 2 acres; in trust to pay rents etc. to his niece Sarah Boys for her separate use during her life, on her decease to pay the same to her husband Henry Boys, on his decease in trust for sale, dividing proceeds equally between children of Henry and Sarah Boys; - death of George Crouch on 16 Dec 1874; - proof of will of George Crouch on 27 Jan 1875 in PPR; - death of Henry Boys on 21 May 1877
