Copy will of Christian Franklyn of The Bail of Lincoln, widow - to her son Francis Edmund Franklyn of The Bail of Lincoln, surgeon and Benjamin Whall of The Close of Lincoln, gentleman, her executors, all her real estate in Potton and all personal estate upon trusts to pay all debts then to sell the real estate and stand possessed of the sale monies which, together with the personal estate should be bequeathed as follows: - 800 to be invested and the profit to be paid to her daughter Charlotte Franklyn whilst unmarried, when she married, or died unmarried, the 800 to be divided amongst the testatrix's children; - the residue of her estate to be divided equally amongst her children Elizabeth Wasse, John Franklyn, Sophia Whitworth, Harriott Whall, wife of Benjamin Whall, Joseph Franklyn, William Franklyn, Thomas Decimus Franklyn, Francis Edmund Franklyn and Charlotte Franklyn; - witnesses John Atkin, Ann Homer and Elizabeth Metcalf
