Vagrants, Poor etc: Account of appeal by the Abbey parish, St Albans, against an order for the removal of Mary Brown, widow, her son Henry, aged 14, Elizabeth her daughter aged 8, William her son aged 6 and Joseph her son aged 4, from Woburn to said Abbey parish, by which the Court quashed the order subject to the opinion of the Court of King's Bench. John Hilliard, of St Albans, has refused to give evidence. With opinion of V Gibbs, L.I., that John Hilliard was compellable to give evidence. Woburn parish should take the advice of King's Bench on the matter.
