    Judicial Business: Declaration by 7 Justices of the Peace for the County that William Goldsmith of Luton, gentleman, had produced in Court his instrument of appointment by the Lord Chancellor, Philip, Lord Hardwick, as Clerk of the Peace and Custous Rotulorum of the County, in place of Gabriel Mallet, gentleman, who had resigned the Office. The said William had in their presence taken the appointed oath and so was admitted by the Justices into the Office of Clerk of the Peace
