Scope and Content
William Powell, their father, came in 1731 with a certificate from Woburn to Eversholt. In 1750 he inherited a house in Eversholt from Andrew Lambert and his family dwelt in it until his death. 14 years ago William Powell was put into possession of a piece of a barn and 4 poles ground in Eversholt by a warrant from the Sheriff. William Powell let the said premises at 5s p.a. He also cut down a tree on the ground and sold it.
