Mortgage of 31st May 1856 of freehold and copyhold hereditaments as in Z 903/3/1/8 (a)-(b), Z 903/3/1/9 (b) and Z 903/1/1/10 (b) and Z 903/3/1/8 (c) and Z 903/3/1/11 (b), in consideration of £350 and interest (at the rate of £5 per centum per annum), between James Smith and Joseph Adams. Also contained therein is reconveyance and release of 16th July 1880 Parties (i) Elizabeth Adams,(widow), Girlford, Parish of Sandy, devisee and executrix of the late Joseph Adams. (ii) James Smith. By his last will of 13th April 1859, Joseph Adam devised all his freehold and copyhold hereditaments vested in him on mortgage (and subject to the equity of redemption) to his wife Elizabeth, Henry Adams, and John Baimley. £350 paid to Elizabeth Adams by James Smith.
