Some of these are: (I) Indentures of lease and release dated 26th and 27th March 1745, being tripartite, between John Tovey, and his wife Elizabeth, Parish of Saint Martin, County of Middlesex, James Thomas (Esquire), Whitehall, and Michael Tovey (gentleman), Parish of Saint Mary, Staining, London. (II) Indentures of lease and release dated 26th and 27th June 1794. Release made between Mary Schutz (widow and Lady of the Manor of Langford), Albermarle Street, County of Middlesex, Lacon Lambe (gentleman), Hereford City, and Ann Foley (widow), City of Bath. (III) Indenture dated 1st April 1818 (endorsed on last indenture of release) made between Edward Thomas Foley Esquire, Stoke Court, County of Hereford, (eldest son of The Honourable Edward Foley, who was the youngest son of the younger sons of Thomas Foley, later Lord Foley), and William Joseph Lockwood.
