Summons issued by George Kirby, School Attendance Inspector, on behalf of the School Board for Arlesey, to Joseph Brown, Labourer of Asylum Road, Arlesey, who did unlawfully neglect to cause his son George to attend school. Report of Daniel Flunder, the Principal Teacher of the Board School for Boys Arlesey, that George Brown did not attend on 30 July 1877 and that he had only made 42 attenndances during the 8 weeks in which the School had been open previous to 4 August 1877. Dismissed with caution.
