Summons issued by George Kirby, School Attendance Inspector, on behalf of the School Board for Arlesey, to Thomas Jackson the Elder, Labourer of Arlesey, who did unlawfully neglect to cause his son Thomas Jackson the Younger, to attend school. Report of Daniel Flunder, the Principal Teacher of the Board School for Boys Arlesey, that Thomas Jackson the Younger did not attend on 20 July 1877 and that he had only made 47 attenndances during the 8 weeks in which the School had been open previous to 4 August 1877.
