- TitleReport of Amos Brown, Labourer of Arlesey, who said he was in the Oak Public House when a man who went by the name of Dodd, real name Frederick Lownsden, came into the House and without saying a word hit Brown in the mouth, knocking out one of his teeth. Lownsden then dragged Brown out of the House, would not let him get up off the ground and hit him again. Lownsden said ' You B-- you. I will kill you'. Mr Hyde got Brown into the House and asked the man's name. Brown told him and said the man used to work in the brickyard. Report of Prince King who was at Arlesey. He saw Lownsden strike Brown in the face. He did not think that Brown was pulled out against his will. Fine 1/-. Costs 9/6 or 14 days.
