- TitleOccurrence Report of PC Robert King Stearn stationed at Arlesey. He was in a house on Hitchin Road Arlesey when he saw a man riding on a cart pulled by 2 horses without reins, or having anyone on foot to drive the same. When PC Stearns looked aroung the cart he found it had no name on it. The man said his name was Charles Furr of Ickleford, Hertfordshire . PC Stearns said he summons him for riding on the highway without reins. Pleaded Guilty. Fine 5/-. Costs 6/6
