Letter from J.Farey at Woburn to John Gotobed, 10 Norfolk Street, London: "Your favour of yesterday came duly. Inclosed is Mr.Shaw's account [R6/63/28/35] & his Receipt for £80. You had better get a Draft for £770 or 780 payable to me & after paying them the balance & the Interest, pay the balance of the draft & the vouchers over to Mr.[Daniel] Beaumont who will account to me for them & thus the whole transaction will appear in my Books. I will endeavour to attend the Court, when Mr.Davis fixes it, if informed thereof"
