    Folio 146d - William Weynwrighte of Todington, husbandman, made 15 July pr. 13 Dec. 1557. “I bequeth my soule to allmightie God and my body to be bured in the churchyard of Todington”. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 12d..To the mother church of Lincoln 4d.. To the poor people to be distributed on day of his burial 20s. and to them another 20s. on the day of his month’s mind. To Robert Weynwrighte son of William Weynwright decd. a two year old bullock and 20s. in money. To George Grome a two year old bullock or 10s. in money. To his servant Thomas Ford a two year old bullock or 10s.. To every one of his godchildren 4d.. To Nicholas Pottes 12d.. His son George Weynwrighte and the heirs of his body to have the tenement where testator dwells with all the lands, goods, pastures, leasowes, commons and feedings with all the appurtenances, and for lack of heirs of his body property to go to the right heirs of said son George Weynwrighte. To son George also all testator’s horses with their harness, to large carts and the old cart and all his ploughs and harrows with the plough irons. Residue to his goods to be divided into three parts within a month of testator’s death, of which one part to go to son George Weyngwrghte, and the other 2 parts to his daughters Agnes Weynwrighte and Jone Weynwrighte, and should any of the three die before the division, then their share to go to the survivors. Executor son George Weynwrighte with overseer Geiles Blowfeld. To brother in law John Dawson 3s. 4d. Witnesses sir Mathey Dawson curate, Thomas Ordwey, Henry Shipton.
