To mother church 2d.; for his tithes forgotten 6d.. To daughter Alys Dyne £6 13s. 4d. on the day of her marriage; to dau. Agnes Dyne £6 13s. 4d. on the day of her marriage; to daughter Joane Dyne £6 13s. 4d. on the day of her marriage. To William Dyne £6 13s. 4d., a couple of oxen, a featherbed and a bedstead, a cupboard, a table, a form, 2 trestles, a bench board, a quern, a grindstone, a vat, a salting trough and a coffer. Should any child die before they are married then the other children to have their stock divided equally between them. Testator’s wife Joane to have the house where he lives with appurtenances for 16 years after his death and then it is to go to son William, and at the end of the 16 years wife Joane is to sow 6 acres of tilth to the use of William. Residue of goods to wife Joane, and she to be sole executrix, “she to disposse for my soule helthe and all cristens soules as she shall thinke moste necessarie”. Overseers to be brothers Richard and Thomas Dyne, each to have 12d.. Witnesses John Fossey, John Freman, Thomas Crocker. Testator owes to his brother Richard Dyne £7 11s. 4d. and to his brother Thomas Dyne 4 marks.
