Folio 124d - William Morse/Moreses of Woborne made 29 June pr. 18 Nov. 1557 “I bequeth my soule to allmightie God and to all the holy company of heaven” and burial in the churchyard of Woborne. To the high altar there for tithes forgotten 12d.. To daughter Ellyne [?]Tailer the brown heifer, and to her 5 children 2 lambs. To his son Robert a brown heifer with a white flank and one lamb. To son William 2 ox calves of this year, also to his children George and Marie one ewe. To son Raffe 13s. 4d..To son Thomas 2 “Coushings” , 2 heiffers and a mare colt. To son William the younger 20s..To daughter Elizabeth a red calf and a brown calf of this year, a ewe and a lamb, with the increase of the same. To son Isake a white cow and her calf. Residue to wife Margeret , and she to be sole executrix. Witnesses sir John Smythe curate, Steven [?]Baule, Thomas Stratton, John Tailer.
