Folio 115d - William Kent of Wotton made 17 Aug. pr. 16 Sep. 1557 “I bequeath my soule to allmightie God and my body to be buried in the churche yard of Wotton”. To wife Margeret the house where testator dwells for her lifetime, reversion to testator’s son Thomas and the heirs of his body. To daughters Joane and Elizabeth 20s. each Residue equally between wife Margeret and son Thomas. Witnesses sir John Dewe vicar of Wotton, Thomas Hordey and Thomas Stanbridge. Wife and son Thomas to be executors
