    Folio 114d - Robert Meadowys of Bletnesoo, husbandman, made 7 June pr. 16 Sept. 1557.the 4 and 5 years of King Philippe and Queen Mary. Soul to almighty God, our lady St. Mary and the blessed company of heaven, and burial in the churchyard of Bletnessoo. To the high altar of Bletnessoo for tithes forgotten 6d.; to church of Lincoln 2d.. Son in law Thomas Trostoll to occupy testator’s farm and all his cattle and goods both moveable and unmoveable until Michaelmas come twelvemonth. Thomas to keep testator’s four youngest children until they are able to get their own living. To son William Medowes 3 acres of barley and 3 acres of pease, also a body horse. To daughter Agnes a hewed cow and a kettle, a wheel, 5 pair of sheets, 2 platters and a cupboard, a coverlet, and a pot. To daughter Joane 3 pair of sheets, and the bigger brass pot, the lesser kettle, a table cloth, and 2 pieces of pewter, and to her also a black heifer, a little coffer and a candlestick. To son John Meadowys a brindle cow and a black colt. To daughter Elizabeth Meadowes a sheep and a kettle and 2 pair of sheets. To son Thomas Meadowes a white and red cow and a sheep. To son Henry a calf. To son Gregory a calf. The legacy of any child dying to revert to Thomas Trostoll, who is to keep the above legacies until Michaelmas twelvemonth.Residue to Thomas Trostall, who is executor, and son William Medowes to see the will fulfilled.
