    Folio 102d - Thomas Bawdrey of Mookyatt in the parish of Cadington 16 May 1557 pr. 11 Oct. 1557. Soul to almighty God, to the holy virgin Mary and to all the holy company of heaven, and burial in the church yard of Cadington. To the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the high altar 2d.. To daughter Elizabeth Bawdrey all his goods not bequeathed elsewhere . To brother John Bawdrey 20s..is daughter Elizabeth and his brother John to be executors and John Bawdrey to have for his work 3s. 4d.. His brother William Bawdrey to be overseer, he to have for his work 20d.. Should daughter Elizabeth die before she is married, then all testator’s goods to be divided among his brothers and sisters where most need is. Debts owing to testator: £5 less 10d. in the hands of Richard Weller the elder; £5 save 4d. in the hands of Robert Harnes; 4 nobles with John Preston of Luton; 40s. and [?]odd money from John Payse; 20s. from sir Andro Clenes; 20s. from John Clerke. Witnesses Geffrey Braye and Thomas Adame, Geils Whitt, William Francis and Mathewe Tailor.
