Soul to Almighty God, our blessed lady St. Mary and all the holy company of heaven, and burial in the churchyard of Roxston. To Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 6d.. To wife Agnes 2 parts of all testator’s lands and tenements, woods, meadows, pastures and feedings in Roxston, Cholveston and Barford to keep her and testator’s children. To Walter Cockes testator’s best green coat, and to his children ten ewe sheep. Residue to wife Agnes, who is to be executrix, and Thomas Child junior to be executor. To servants Nicholas [?]Perkes and Agnes Cowper a bushel of malt to their marriage. To Richard Hemsone of Swynshed the elder testator’s best russet coat. To Mary Henson a half quarter of malt and half quarter of barley to be delivered at the feast of St. Michael the Archangel. Witnesses William Hunte of Chelveston, Richard Merill, Thomas Ball the elder.
