Soul to almighty God, our blessed lady St. Mary and all the holy company of heaven, and burial in churchyard of Flitwike. To the mother church of Lincoln 1d.. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d..
To son Reynold Sped one acre of rye. To wife Joan a yoke of oxen and the red cow. To son John Spead one acre of rye and 6s. 8d.. To daughter Joane one acre of rye; to daughter Margeret 6s. 8d.; to daughter Elizabeth 6s. 8d.; to daughter Margery 10s.. To testator’s sister Agnes one acre of rye in the north side of Shypcott Yatt. His wife is to have the house. The rest of his goods to be distributed among his children but to remain with his wife Joane to bring up the children. Executors to be wife Joane and son Reynold Spead, and they to see to his month’s mind. Overseers John Killingworthe and J. Comberland to each of whom for their work 12d..Witnesses sir John Collope vicar of the same town, James Calverly, John Comberland.
