Folio 67 - Thomas Berie/Berye of Clifton, husbandman, made 19 Aug. pr. 6 Oct. 1556. Soul to almighty God, to Jesus Christ his redeemer, to the blessed virgin Mary and the company of heaven, and burial in churchyard of Clifton. To wife Marget all his household stuff. To John Berye testator’s eldest son all his land in Pullanger Feld with the appurtenances. To son William Berye all his land in Campton with the appurtenances. To his daughter Joan Pound a quarter of barley. To Agnes Pound’s children to either of them half a quarter of barley. To Margeret Cotten’s children to either of them half a quarter of barley . To Robert Dynes two sheep. Wife Margeret, and sons John and William are to occupy the farm with all the goods as long as they can agree together, and when they depart the goods are to be divided between the three of them. Executors are to be son John Berye and Michell [?]Brawn, with supervisor Mr. Fage parson of Clyfton, Witnesses Thomas Fisher, William Pound, Elizabeth Sandell, Ane Gudrige.
