Soul to almighty God his maker and redeemer and to our blessed Lady the Virgin Mary and all the holy company of heaven, and burial in churchyard of Harrold. To the high altar of Harrold 12d. . To the bells in Harrold 3s. 4d.. To bridge in Harrold 3s. 4d.. To son Thomas 5 horses with cart and cart gear, plough and plough gear, with a yoke of oxen, 6 kine, 6 bullocks (two of every sort) and 40 sheep to be delivered at discretion of John Arndell and Robert Franklin. To son Thomas and daughter Agnes the third part of his household stuff to be divided between them both at the discretion of John Arndell and Robert Franklen. To daughter Agnes £10 in money. To daughter Elener Lambaster 40s. and to daughter Alis Woodmanson 40s.. To his daughter’s son John Taylor 40s.. To his sister Kateren a three year old bullock, and to sister Elener a two year old bullock. To brother Henry Blote one bullock. After death of wife Margery a bullock is to be divided between the children of Richard Blote; to the children of John Lankaster 2 bullocks between them; to Francis Woodmansons children 2 bullocks; to William Blotes children 2 bullocks; and to testator’s daughter’s children at London one bullock between them.. To every godchild in Harrold 4d.. To servant Thomas Abbot one bullock. To servant Henry Bromley one bullock. Wife Margerie and son Thomas to occupy the farm where testator now dwells jointly, during life of wife, and on her death, the son William to enter in to the same farm, and to enjoy it for the remainder of the lease, and at that time son Thomas to enter in to the farm at the Town’s End. Residue to wife Margerie for term of her life, then remainder to sons William Blote and Richard Blote.
