    Soul unto almighty God his creator and redeemer and body to be buried in Christian burial at the will of those responsible. To poor people in the parish of Wooborn 13s. 4d. to be distributed at the will of his executors. To Thomas Coms/Coins £10 when he comes out of his apprenticeship, and should he die before then, 20s.of that sum to be distributed to the poor people. To Margerie Williamson his servant 40s. every year paid out of the rent of property in parish of Wooborn and Birchmore for as long as his lease continues. To the same Margerie 2 cows. To daughter in law Elen Morden the remaining years of the lease of the close called Mile Close adjoining to the Litell Butes going to Brickell. To Sarye Morden, daughter of Helen Morden testator’s daughter in law, £6 13s. 4d. on the day of her marriage to be given to her by those that have the lease of testator’s farm. Should Saray die before marriage, then 13s. 4d. of the legacy of £6 13s. 4d. to be given to the poor people. To servant Katerin Welch 13s. 4d.. To sir John Smith 3s. 4d.. To Robert Firmaxe 3s. 4d.. To William Smith 3s. 4d.. Residue to wife Agnes Stile and his brother sir William Stell, these two to be executors. To his executors all his leases in Birchmore and Wooborn for the life of the survivor, and after their deaths the remainder of the terms to go to William Sewell and George Sewell with Thomas Coins, and should all three die then the remainder of the years to go to Elen Borne the daughter of testator’s brother and to her children.
