To Harre Boughton 40s. and a little table and a table cloth and all the hangings about testator’s bed, 2 pillows, a potle [drinking vessel holding two quarts] pan, a “coluerd” and a coffer. To daughter Jane 6s. 8d. and to each of her children 4d.. To daughter Bese Badkate 6s. 8d. and to each of her children 4d.. To daughter Bese the best pan save one, testator’s old red kertle and an old white petticoat, best red cape. To the repairs to Throp Streat 6s. 8d.. To each godchild 4d.. To the children of Thomas Cowper of Mareston (two of them and a boy) 4d.. 10s. is to be distributed among poor people at her funeral. To John and Thomas Clarke sons of Francis 10s.. each. To Dorothie the daughter of Francis Clarke the best brass pot and to her sister Bese a brass pot and to Agnes, another sister, a posnet. Legacy to any child dying to be divided among survivors. To Harrye Boughton’s children 4d.. To Dorothy Francis’ daughter testator’s best pillowbere; to Mother Prunar a kercher, and to Harre Boughton’s wife the third kercher. To Christopher Clarke the son of John Clarke 2s. . All goods unbequeathed to son Francis. To Francis Tayler son of John Tayler 16d.. Executors Francis Clarke and John Tayler and John Bedcoat overseers, they to have 4d. each. To Dorothy Tayler the daughter of John Taylor a pewter dish.
