To mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the highways in Cardingtoon 3s. 4d.. To eldest son Thomas Bull a chest and all that is in it except for three things that son knows very well. To him also an ark standing in testator’s chamber, the table in the hall lying against the wall, and all the wood that is in the yard, testator’s best coat and the brass pot with the long feet. To his son John the great red coffer and the chest that stands in testator’s chamber at the bed’s head, also his best gown, a pair of great andirons and the great brass pan, a brass pot and 2 pewter platters. To son William the mattress on which testator lies, the bolster and a coverlet, a pair of sheets and all the hangings that belong to his bed, a great brass pot and another smaller one and all the hangings that a pot should be hung by; a gridiron, a trivet, a table that stands in testator’s chamber, an ark that stands by it, the table and the trestle that stand in the hall, 2 spits, a pair of andirons, a great form that stands in the hall, a red coffer, a new bedstead in the same chamber. An [?]aumbry that stands in testator’s chamber, 2 latten candlesticks, 3 pewter platters. To John Bull and Alis Bull the son and daughter of testator’s son John Bull sufficient money to buy each of them 2 ewes when they come to 8 years of age. To John Wright junior the son of testator’s daughter Alis, a heifer at the age of 8, but testator’s son Thomas to keep the heifer to the profit of the boy until he comes to the age of 21. Should son Thomas die, then son John to keep the heifer, and if the boy should die, then the boy’s mother to have the heifer. Son John is to give his sister Alis a coat costing 8s.. Executors sons John and Thomas and also William Bull of Bedford. Witnesses William Bull of Bedford, John Cowper of Bedford, John Harrodun, John of Cardingtoon, George Butman clerk.
