- TitleFolio 33d - John Burrell of Litellington [Lidlington] made 20 Dec. 1555, pr. 11 March 1555/6. “Furst I commit my self both body and sowll to the mercye of almightye god” and burial in churchyard of Litlington. To sons John, Robert and William 4 ewes each to remain in the hands of testator’s wife as long as she remains unmarried, the income to be used to help to bring up the boys. Should wife remarry, the boys’ sheep to be at the disposition of testator’s father and uncle. Residue to wife Elizabeth, who is executrix, and testator’s father and his uncle William Burrell to be overseers. Witnesses his wife, John Burrell, his father William Burrell, Christopher Myddelton, Henry Ade, John Clarke, Thomas Wright of Litellton.
