    Folio 32 - John Maltman of Temyford [Tempsford] made 3 Nov. [?]1556, pr. 13 Jan. 1556/7. “I bequeth my sowle to Allmightye god and my body to be buried in the church yard of Temyford”. The copyhold land that John Fisher dwells in with all the land and meadow to wife Jhoan for her life, then to testator’s son Thomas and his heirs. The copyhold land where testator lives to wife for the term of her life, and on her death to testator’s son Robert and his heirs. To his son-in-law Thomas Bruer and his heirs the copyhold where Bruer dwells with all land and meadow. The lease of his Dove Howse to wife for the remainder of the lease, but should she die before the end of the lease then the remaining years to son Thomas. The lease of three acres of meadow lying on the Blonham Syde to wife for the remainder of the term, but if she die then remainder of lease to son Robert. The lease of a holme lying on Blonham Syde called Hardwike Holme to wife Jhoan for the remainder of the term, but if she die then the remaining years to son Thomas. To daughter-in-law Rose Bruer a little brass pot and “my myddellmast kettell”, and the long coffer that she had “when she dwelt at the Parsonage”. To Alis Bruer daughter of Thomas Bruer all testator’s moveables now at the house of her father Thomas Bruer. To his son Robert a coffer and to son Thomas a coffer. Remainder to wife Jhoan who with Thomas Bruer are to be executors, with Henry James supervisor. Witnesses Henry James, John Bullocke junior.
