    Folio 31 - Henry Willmote/Wylmote of Blanham [Blunham] made 15 Dec. 1556, pr. 14 Jan 1556/7. “I bequeth my sowle in to the handes of almightie god” and burial in churchyard of Blanham. To high altar 12d., to church of Lincoln 2d.; to the poor in Blanham [no amount stated]. To wife Elizabeth 2 milch kine, a breeder, 2 horses (a grey and a bay), with all manner of household stuff “that was in the howse before my comming thither”; also half of all the crop of corn, hay and straw that is in the barn at the time of his death. To his son Henry Wilmote the other half of the crop with the tilth and breach of all such lands as testator held at will of the lord of the manor and of the bailiff, and also 2 horses “the one a gray forehors thother a gray filhors” on condition “that the said Henry shall at his owne proper cost and charges threshe the said half crope and sow the said tylth and brache and mowe, cocke and carye the crope comminge uppon the said tylth and brache and take the same to his owne use painge the rent dew for the said Land for one hole yere, deliveringe to my executors before the Fest of alsaintes next after my deathe to the use of mi dowghters his Sisters for every one of them one quarter of barlye and one bushell of barlye to the use of Robert Stacye”. To daughter Alis a pair of sheets, one harden, the other flaxen, a coverlet of tepestry work, the best brass pan, a pewter dish and a candlestick, a linen wheel. To daughter Agnes a pair of sheets, one flaxen one harden, the great brass pan, a pewter platter and a little coffer. To daughter Eden the red cow, the great kettle, the best bolster saving one, a pair of sheets, a towel, a pewter platter, a pillow and a pillow bere, and a woollen wheel. To daughter Joan a flecked cow, the second brass pot, a pair of sheets, a table cloth of hemp, the best coffer saving one, a pillow and a pillow bere, a turned chair and a pewter platter. To daughter Katerin the younger flecked cow, the best brass pot, the best coverlet, the best coffer, a pair of sheets, the second mattress and a saucer. The residue of all his goods to son Leonard Willmot and he to be executor with Thomas Troughton (to whom 6s. 8d.), with John Couper overseer (to whom 20d.). Witnesses the above named executors and overseer, Henry Fisher, Henry Willmote.
