    Folio 22d - Harry Ade of Littlington, made 12 July pr. 5 Oct. 1556. “I bequeth my sowle to allmightye god to our blessyd Lady saynct mary and all the Blessyd company in heaven” and burial in churchyard of Allhalows in Littlington. His best good to be his mortuary after the custom of the country. To mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to high altar for tithes 4d.. To three children for 17 years 3 roods, one year of wheat corn, and another year 3 roods of pease, for 17 years, and if they die each to be heir to the others. Should his wife be with child, and this to live, the child to get at the age of 24 40s.. To the three children a pair of sheets each, and a pair to the child that wife carries if it lives. To ”brilla” 2s.. To the bells 12d.. To every child a pewter platter. To Wylliam Kyllby a weaning calf, a bill and testator’s jerkin and best hose. To wife Joane Ade land for the term of 17 years after the custom, and all other goods. Residue to wife, and his executors to be Christopher Mydeltoon and testator’s wife Joone with John Senns overseer, each to have 12d. for their work. John Tayler the butcher to be overseer. Thomas Wright and John Tayler to have the oversight of the 3 roods of wheat and 3 roods of pease for the 17 years. Witnesses John Taylor, John Senns, Harry Archard.
