To the high altar there 10s.; to mother church of Lincoln 2d.. to the highways within the parish of Hulcote 6s. 8d., to the church of Hulcote 6s. 8d.. To his brother Robert Fayrye the lease of testator’s house in Salford To Richard [?]Leveris a russet coat; to Richard Delpace another russet coat; to every godchild a lamb. To the wife of William Clark a bullock. To William Clerke himself 6s. 8d.. To Mistress Roby’s sister 6s. 8d.. To old Wood of Salford a pair of hose. To Mary [?]Lebrices 20d. To Margret Perr a lamb. Wife Mary to have his land in Hulcote for 20 years, and if his child Als lives, then she is to enter on the land when she is 16 years of age and put out her mother, but if daughter should die without issue, then the land to remain to 4 of testator’s next of blood, that is William Fayrye, Thomas Fayrye, Robert Fayrye and Coleman. To Nycolas Dasce 2 lambs. To Richard Sheppard one lamb. To daughter Alis two kine. To his wife his other two kine. To wife and daughter Alis 20 lambs. Residue to wife Mary and Thomas Farye who are to be executors to dispose “for the health of my sowle and all Christian sowllez”. Witnesses Nycolas Sheppard parson of Hulcote, Thomas Fayrye and Robert Fayrye. “Brother Henry I have serten gold which that my wyf shall deliver you forthwith all the which gold I gyve and bequeth to my brother’s children every one of them a pece therof at your discrertion the resydew to be bestowed amongst my frendes save one pece of 15s. I gyve and bequeth to Alis my doughter thes being witnes Mistress Robins Harry Fayrye and Mary Fayrye”
