- TitleOccurrence Report of PC Robert King Stearn stationed at Arlesey. He was called to Arlesey Siding Railway Station where Alfred Gatward, Coprotite Digger, lodging at Arlesey, was drunk and using disgusting language. PC King Stearn was requested by the Station Master, Mr Walters to take Gatward into custody as he had been using very bad language to him and he wouldn't let him go by train as he was so drunk. When he finally left the station he started shouting and was very violent causing a large crowd to gather. PC King Stearn kept him at his house until he became quiet and he could take him to his lodgings. Gatward lived at Great Billington, near Leighton. Fined 1/6. Costs 8/6.
