Report of John Jeeves, labourer of Preston, Herts who worked for Major Henry Pryor of Preston, Herts. Feever was ordered by his Master to take two heifers from Preston to Clifton. He had a certificate from James Mills of Hitchin, Inspector fro Preston District. He did not have a Certificate from the Bedfordshire Inspector. Report of Sergeant George Daniels. He went to see Major Henry Pryor at Preston. Major Pryor informed him that he had sent 2 heifers to Clifton on the Certificate issued by James, Inspector for the Hitchin District. He thought that was all that was required and had been told so by James Mills. Case dismissed.
