    Summons issued to Kesse King for assault. Information of Edward Henry Tooley, Farmer at Holwell. He was passing through a plantation at Holwell where Jesse King was cutting down wood. He accused Tooley of damaging the wood and used foul language. Tooley offered to pay for any damage. King rushed up to Tooley threatening him and holding up a hatchett. Tooley managed to throw King to the ground and grabbed the hatchett. King called to his son to give him a hand. Information from Freeman King, Jesse King's son. Fine 20/6. Costs 9/6 or 1 month.
