- TitleInformation of Frederick Brockett of the White Hart, Stotfold was looking after the business for his father, William Brockett, who was ill. William Banks, Labourer of Stotfold, went into the White Hart and called for a pint of beer. He then began to quarrel with his son. He struck his son several times. Mrs Brockett told him to leave the house. He refused to leave and pushed Mrs Brockett to one side and became very abusive. Mrs Brockett called on George Hyde to help her to put him out. While trying to do so Banks struck him on the face. After a while they got him outside but he was very abusive and violent. Fine 14/6. Costs 8/6 or 1 month.
