  • Title
    Release Parties: (i) Catherine Taylor of Aspley, Beds, spinster; (ii) Simon Taylor of Colworth House, Sharnbrook, Beds, esquire. Reciting: - settlement upon the marriage of Simon and Diana Taylor dated 9th Jun 1713 whereby £1000 was to be used by the trustees in the purchase of freehold property upon certain trusts; - will of Simon Taylor of Woburn, Beds, gentleman, deceased, late father of (i) and (ii) dated 20th Sep 1732 whereby he devised all his property in the several parishes of Cardington and Wilshamstead, Beds which he purchased of John Thurloe Brace to (i) upon certain trusts; - will of James Oliver whereby rents and profits amounting to £1600 from property in Pertenhall, Beds was received by Simon Taylor; - in order to present any disputes concerning the said £1600 it was agreed that (i) will convey (a) and all copyhold property held of the manor of Woburn Abbotts to (ii), and (ii) will release all rights he had to the said £1600 to (i). Operative: - in consideration of the said agreement and £70/13/4 (i) conveys (a) to (ii). Property: (a) messuage, cottage or tenement in Woburn now in the tenure or occupation of William Church. Habendum: - unto and to the use of (ii); - signed by (i); - witnessed and signed by Talbot Williamson and Charles Livesey.
