    Abstract of the title of Stephen Taylor & Mary his wife to two copyhold closes in Woburn called Great Caswells of 3a 2r 25p and Little Caswells of 3a 16p. Reciting: (I) Will of Robert Martin dated 10th Sep 1707: Devising: - Great Caswells (then Great Castles or Castle Close) to Elizabeth his wife, after her death to his three daughters: Elizabeth, Eve and Mary; - Little Caswells (then Little Castles) unto Thomas Staniford upon trust to sell and pay profits to said three daughters. (II) court held 19th Jul 1731, Manor of Woburn Abbotts: - admission of Eve Martin junior & Mary Martin to said premises with their share of Castle Close of 3a 3r 22p; - admission of Eve Martin to Little Castles of 2a 2p; (III) court held 15th Oct 1738, Manor of Woburn Abbotts: - surrender of Eve Martin junior to 1/3rd of Great Caswells to the use of Richard Smith and Joseph Cooke in trust for Eve until her marriage with Thomas Gale; (IV) court held 10th Jun 1752, Manor of Woburn Abbotts: - admission of Eve Martin, widow of Robert Martin; Richard Smith and Mary Martin to Great and Little Caswells upon certain trusts; (V) court held 16th Jun 1773, Manor of Woburn Abbotts: - admission of Mary Gale and Mary Martin to said property; (VI) court held 20th Mar 1788, Manor of Woburn Abbotts: - death of Mary Martin; - Mary Gale has since married Stephen Taylor of Woburn, wheelwright; - admission of Mary Taylor, as surviving heir at law, to said property; (VI) court held 20th Mar 1788, Manor of Woburn Abbotts: - surrender of Mary Taylor and the agreed exchange of said property with the Duke of Bedford.
