Bundle of forms relating to the sale of parish property… ‘A freehold tenement in Woburn fronting on the street then called Bedford Street lately used as the Parish Workhouse together with the yard and garden adjoining with a small cottage and outbuildings standing thereon. Also two cottages fronting on the said street called Bedford Street in Woburn aforesaid together with the yards or buildings adjoining’. Freeman, overseer; John S.Duvey and William Cobb, overseers; - resolution entered in Vestry book dated 22nd Apr 1837; - certificate of the Forms of Act having been compiled with dated 27th Apr 1837; - order for sale with conditions dated 4th May 1837 and signed by T.Frankland Lewis, J.G.S. Lefevre and George Nicholls, poor law commissioners.
