Reciting: - will of John Bowler of Woburn, Beds, blacksmith [see R6/63/15/11] whereby certain property in the occupation of Francis Turner was devised to (i) subject to the payment of £20 to Elizabeth Bowler upon the death of John’s wife Sarah; - Sarah Bowler has since died; - (ii) have married and Elizabeth is now entitled to the legacy of £20. Operative: - in consideration of £20 (ii) quitclaims the property acting as security for the legacy to (i). - signed by Thomas Copeland [his mark] and Elizabeth Copeland; - witnessed and signed by Samuel Davis and Benjamin Willis.
