Affidavit of Samuel Davis of Ampthill, Beds, gentleman concerning the intestacies of Eve Gale [nee Martin] late of Toddington, Beds, spinster (one of the two daughters of Eve Gale the late wife of Thomas Gale, tallow chandler) and Mary Martin formerly of Woburn, spinster, deceased, one of the daughters of Eve Martin of Woburn. - also mentions Mary Taylor [nee Gale] the late wife of Stephen Taylor late of Woburn, wheelwright, deceased who became entitled as the sister and heir at law of the said Eve Gale to one undivided moiety of certain property at Woburn now intended to be conveyed to the Duke of Bedford; - signed by Samuel Davis and sworn before Thomas Day.
