Parties: (i) Edward Gale of Denmark Court, Golden Lane, Redcross Street [Middlesex], clock case maker and Mary his wife; George Christmas of Fox Court, Greys Inn Lane [Middlesex], plumber and Ann his wife; George Dodson of Nottingham, framework knitter and Esther his wife (late Esther Emmitt, daughter of John Emmitt late of Woburn, Beds and Ann his wife, both now deceased) (ii) John Palmer, surviving trustee of the will of Thomas Gale (see R6/63/16/9); Reciting: - will of Mary Taylor whereby Mary and Ann were granted a legacy of £50 and Esther a legacy of £30 to be paid by Thomas Gale out of her estate (see R6/63/7/16); - will of Thomas Gale (see R6/63/16/9); - Stephen Taylor died on the 10th Oct 1793; Operative: - in consideration of the said legacy and interest being paid, (i) releases (a) unto (ii). Property: (a) freehold and copyhold estates late of the said Mary Taylor, deceased and devised by her will to Thomas Gale, deceased. - signed by George Christmas and Ann his wife and George Dodson and Esther his wife; - witnessed and signed by Ann Woodin, John Hooper, William Hurst and W.Pacy.
