Letter from Frederic Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds to Mr. F.J. Coleman… 'I attended at Bedford yesterday and completed the purchase of the house in Victoria Street. I now send you the Deeds. The costs are £6/15/- as per a/c enclosed which with the £10 advanced to make up the purchase money comes to £16/15/- for which I shall be obliged by cheque'… 'The conveyance must be signed by you (I have marked in pencil where) in the presence of one witness who signs opposite. When this is done please let me have exact copy of the signature & the witnesses signature etc.'
