William Goodman and James Brandon Barnwell, the Trustees of the Will of the above named deceased [James Warr, deceased], the sum of Two hundred and thirty six pounds four shillings and eight pence in equal shares, being the net proceeds of sale (as per statement below) of Four freehold cottages ay Chaul End, Caddington, Beds, the said deceased by his will having directed such property to be sold after the death of our mother Mary Barnwell and the proceeds of such sale divided equally between us the undersigned (being the two children of the said Mary Barnwell living at her death) share and share alike' - signed by James Brandon Barnwell & Ann Spring.
