- TitleCopy of the will of Stephen Taylor of Woburn, wheelwright dated 12th June 1793: I give and devise: - all my messuages, cottages, closes, lands etc. lying in Woburn, Beds or elsewhere in England to Solomon Fountain, son of William and Mary Fountain of Buckland, Buckinghamshire, horse dealer subject to the weekly payment of £-/2/- to my aunt Negus; - £150 with interest at £4 per cent to Mary Fountain, sister of Solomon; - weekly sum of £-/2/- to Aunt Elizabeth Negus payable out of my real estate; - £20 and mourning to my servant Elizabeth Harwood; - residue of real and personal property unto 'my good friends' John Clayton of Woburn, yeoman and John Taylor of Woburn, victualler upon trust to sell and out of proceeds pay debts and apply surplus to the use and benefit of Solomon Fountain during his minority. - appointing John Clayton and John Taylor as executors and giving them £5 a piece for their troubles; - Witnessed by Richard Newman, Geo. Green & Samuel Davis; - Proved in the Archdeaconry of Bedford on the 27th Sep 1794.
