- TitleOccurrence Report of Eli Bayes Police Constable stationed at Biggelswade. Following a complaint from Charles Head, Innkeeper of Holme that Charles Fuller, Labourer of Biggleswade, was sleeping in his shed. The Police Constable found Charles Fuller in a heap of straw under the manger; he had no money and was in a wretched and filthly condition. He took him to the police station and locked him up. Charles Fuller said that Charles Head said he could sleep in the shed. Charles Head denied this and said he had cautioned him several times when he had found him sleeping on his premises. Charles Fuller had no visible means of existence. He was held for 14 days.
