Giving, devising & bequeathing:
- Messuage or tenement where I now dwell with all gardens, outbuildings adjoining etc. unto my eldest son Edward Cox upon trust to pay £5 unto my son James Cox within twelve months after my decease, £5 unto my son Thomas Cox within two years after my decease, £5 unto my son William Cox within three years after my decease & £5 unto Jonathan Cox my son within four years after my decease; if default in such payments then the said property is to be devised amongst said sons equally.
- All personal estate unto and equally between said sons.
- Said sons appointed joint executors.
- Signed by Elizabeth Cox [her mark] and witnessed and signed by William Herbert, Thomas Pratt & Richard Atkins, senior.
