The horse and cart belonging to Chas Tatham, Dealer of Clifton, had been left at the side of the road with no-one in charge of it. The horse was grazing. When walking back down the road John Furze saw that the horse and cart had turned over into the ditch. It was twenty minutes from when he first saw it until Chas Tatham returned. Fine 5/- costs 5/6.
