Depositions of Sarah Mardlin of Blunham and Emily Thomas, daughter of the defendant Thomas Thomas. Sarah Mardlin says that Thomas Thomas 'began and opened a hole on my premises I stood on the hole - Hel told me to go - I said I should not - He hit me with a shovel trod on my feet and threw gravel over me.' Emily says that she 'never saw father strike her nor offer to strike her.' Case dismissed.
