    Mortgage Parties: (i) John Gostelow of Woburn, innholder; (ii) James Gostelow of Dunstable, yeoman Reciting: - Mary Gostelow, late of Woburn, widow, died intestate on 9 Feb 1799 leaving (i), her eldest son, a minor along with six other children; - on her death (a) came to (i), who also became entitled to a seventh part of her personal estate; - (ii), as uncle to Mary Gostelow's children took out letters of administration of her estate [R6/63/4/28]; - (i) became 21 on 10 Feb 1801 and (ii) had sold him Mary Gostelow's goods, household furniture, linen, brewing vessels, casks, wine, liquors etc.; - (ii) has set off with (i) £141/11/4 (his seventh part of Mary's personal estate) and (i) had applied for a loan to (ii) to enable him to buy goods and effects to allow him to carry on his trade as innholder and maltster Operative Part: - (i) borrowed £403 from (ii) secured on (a)-(b) at interest Property: (a) Wheatsheaf, Woburn, with newly erected malthouse; (b) orchard or pightle of pasture adjoining (a) Witnesses: - R.A.Reddall of Woburn, attorney; - David Willis of Leighton Buzzard, attorney
